How the Drill Bit Set Finder (DEWALT models) works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • Minimum set piece count?
  • Which published shank description do you need?
  • Which stated material group do you want to compare?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

All ten sets are DEWALT's, from its US product pages checked September 26, 2026. Piece counts, shank wording and material groups follow DEWALT's text. Where a page only says no-spin (DW1162, DW1341, DW1369), we kept that instead of guessing a shape, and the ELITE SERIES set's 3-flats shank covers only bits from 3/16 in up. Bit diameters aren't compared, and coatings appear only as DEWALT names them. None of these bits went into a drill for this page, so cutting speed and wear are unknown, and sets are in alphabetical order.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
