The same screen size can occupy very different space

These iSpring configurations use a 50-micron screen, but their bodies are not interchangeable in size. The WSP is 9 in high and 3.5 in wide; the WSPARJ is 20.5 in high and 7.2 in wide. Allow additional space for flushing, removal and service beyond those body dimensions.

Heights span 9 to 20.5 in, widths 3.5 to 7.2 in and weights 1 to 14 lb. iSpring supplies these dimensions; sediment capture and pressure loss were not measured. Body weight is another installation consideration, not a measure of filtration performance.

Fitting kits and flushing controls deserve their own check

The plain iSpring WSP weighs 1 lb, while fitting kits using that body have different package weights. Compare the full kit and pipe connections rather than treating a shared filter name as identical included hardware. WSPARJ and WSPARJ-BP have automatic-flushing information; an absent value elsewhere stays unknown.

Review the chosen kit's fitting and flushing instructions before installation. Maintenance arrangements can differ at a shared screen size; sediment screening by itself offers no proof of drinking-water safety.

Before you buy

Are the fitting kits different filters?

No, each is a filter sold with fittings: two add a push-fit ball valve and two push-fit plumbing fittings. The kits weigh 2.9 to 4 lb against 1 lb for the bare WSP and WSPGR, though the figures don't say what the fittings weigh. Pick the kit that suits your pipe connections.

Does a sediment filter make water safe to drink?

Nothing here says so. These are 50-micron spin-down filters for sediment, and this page doesn't cover pathogens or drinking-water safety; have your water analyzed and talk to a water-treatment pro if that's the worry.

Can I choose another screen size?

Every row here is the 50-micron option, so select 50 microns on the product page to get the figures shown. Between the compact and auto-flushing sizes sit the 13.8 in WSPB and the 19.6 in jumbo WSPJ. Every size is the filter body alone, so leave clearance to remove and service it.
