How the Drywall Sander Size Finder works
We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.
Which details affect a match?
A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.
- Which sander format do you want?
- What is the maximum tool weight you want (lb)?
- What minimum tool length do you need (in)?
Order and links
The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.
Sources and limitations
Ten sanders from four makers (seven WEN, and one each from DEWALT, FLEX and Festool), all from maker product pages checked September 26, 2026. Weight is the maker's body weight, and length is the longest tool length each maker gives. Three gaps stay visible: the DEWALT DWE7800 page gives no weight, length or format, the WEN DW5084 has no weight, and the handheld WEN DW1085 has no length. For the Festool, only PLANEX M (LHS 2-M 225 EQ) figures are used, although its comparison table names other models. These sanders weren't switched on for this page, so dust pickup, finish and noise aren't covered; sanders appear in brand and name order.
The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
