How the Garage Door Opener Finder (Genie models) works
We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.
Which details affect a match?
A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.
- Which drive or mounting type do you need?
- Which included door-height capacity do you need (ft)?
- How many handheld remotes should be included?
Order and links
The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.
Sources and limitations
Ten Genie openers, taken from Genie's own store pages on September 26, 2026. Drive type, remotes, door height and door weight follow Genie's wording, and the height is what the opener handles out of the box. Three pages (4142-TC, 3022-BC and 3022-TKH) give no door-weight limit and the 6172H-BO gives no door height; they may be rated like the others, but those cells stay blank. The California restriction is Genie's own statement on four pages. We didn't install or run any of these openers; lifting speed, noise and app features aren't weighed here, and openers are sorted by name.
The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
