Only within a product line. At 3/4 HP, the Badger 5XP and Power 81222K get a 6-year service warranty and the three Evolution models 9 years.
Warranty length is not service life.

Batch feed changes how you start the disposal
InSinkErator's Evolution Cover Control uses batch feed with magnetic-cover starting. The other disposals use continuous feed with wall-switch control. Choose the operating arrangement before motor size: the cover-controlled model is not a direct control replacement for a wall-switch model. Read the exact start-and-stop directions and keep hands clear of the grinding chamber.
Under-sink clearance needs more than a height figure
InSinkErator's Badger has an 11.5 in height in its smaller variants; supported Evolution variants have a 12.25 in height. Heights are missing for 3 of the 10 disposals, so use the complete installation diagram for the selected model. Drain position, mounting hardware and required controls remain separate fit checks. Installing and running disposals were outside this work; motor labels leave grinding performance and kitchen noise unanswered.
Warranty duration is a contract detail, not a service-life prediction
Warranty periods span 2 to 10 years. InSinkErator's Evolution variants have different terms from its Badger and Power lines, so read coverage for parts, labor and installation conditions on the exact product. A longer period does not mean a quieter motor or longer service life. Follow the disposal's electrical isolation and installation directions before servicing it.
Before you buy
Will one of these disposals fit under my sink?
Height is the one fit figure on offer: 11.5 in for the Badger 1 and Badger 5, up to 12-5/8 in for the Badger 5XP, with three heights withheld. Mounting, drain height, cabinet room and the electrical hookup aren't covered, so work from the exact model's installation guide, and bring in an electrician if the circuit or outlet is in doubt. Only within a product line. At 3/4 HP, the Badger 5XP and Power 81222K get a 6-year service warranty and the three Evolution models 9 years. Across lines it flips: the 1 HP Pwr-1HP carries 7 years, less than any 3/4 HP Evolution. The 81226K Cover Control is the lone batch-feed model.
Does the EZ Connect cord come in the box?
Don't count on it. Five InSinkErator pages carry 'with EZ Connect Cord & Hardwire Adapter' in their titles (81225K, 81224K, 81226K, Pwr-1HP and 81222K), but their spec tables disagree with that heading, so the seller's package list is the place to settle it.
What power do these disposals need?
All ten are rated at 120 V, from the 1/3 HP Badger 1 with a 2-year warranty to the 1 HP Evolution 81225K and LED 81138K with 10 years. The nine continuous-feed models run from a wall switch, so you'll want a switch within reach of the sink.
