How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Buy the crosscut capacity your board needs

Blade diameter is a poor substitute for the cutting-capacity table. WEN and Evolution blade diameters span 7.25 to 12 in, while supported straight crosscut widths span 4.75 to 13.75 in. Those widths describe straight cuts; board thickness, miter rotation and bevel tilt change what fits.

Evolution includes single- and dual-bevel configurations. Single bevel tilts to a single side; dual bevel tilts both ways, separately from miter rotation. Conflicting widths stay unknown, so a missing width is no basis for promising that a board fits.

A saw purchase also commits you to a blade and power setup

WEN’s dual-bevel saws use 12 in blades, while Evolution also has smaller blades and a convertible miter/table design. The convertible entry describes miter mode; do not carry its capacity across to table-saw operation. Cordless Evolution packages can be bare tools, so read battery and charger contents before ordering. The makers’ cutting tables were read here; cuts were not made to supplement them.

Match arbor, permitted speed, blade type and intended material to the exact saw instructions. A diameter match alone does not approve a replacement blade. Use the full cutting table for the workpiece and angle you actually plan to cut, with the maker’s workpiece support and operating precautions.

Before you buy

Does straight crosscut width apply at every angle?

No. Bevel and miter angles reduce capacity, and board thickness matters. Check the manufacturer’s full table for the cut you need. Set your minimum blade size and straight crosscut width, then choose single- or dual-bevel adjustment. Use the full manufacturer cutting-capacity table for your board thickness and angles. The R8MTS entry describes its miter mode; cordless listings may be bare tools.

Can any blade of the listed diameter be used?

Arbor, speed rating, blade type and intended material must all match the manufacturer’s instructions.

Are batteries and chargers included?

Not in every kit. The linked variant and product title identify the selected package; confirm its contents before ordering.
