Bare impact driver or battery kit for your platform?
Mostly bare. Eight of these 10 come without a battery or charger; the two kits are Bosch 12V Max models rated 930 and 975 in-lb.
Battery packs do not cross brands.

The battery system is a purchase decision before torque
DEWALT ATOMIC and Bosch's EC Brushless kit belong to different battery platforms. ATOMIC is a tool-only package; the Bosch is a battery kit. Maker platform, package and torque descriptions distinguish the impact drivers; fasteners were not driven and tightening force was not measured. Keep the platform and package type together, since a bare driver excludes the battery and charger you need to power it.
A shared brand does not make every battery family interchangeable. Use the exact platform named for the driver and read its pack compatibility before comparing torque.
DEWALT rates ATOMIC at 1825 in-lb and the XR High Torque driver at 2500 in-lb. Bosch's EC Brushless kit has a 975 in-lb rating. Those are maker ratings from differing measurement conditions, not a common-condition performance ordering.
Torque information is available for 9 of the 10 drivers; DEWALT's Quiet Hydraulic entry remains unknown.
Before you buy
Which battery platforms are covered?
DEWALT 20V MAX (four models), Bosch 12V Max and Bosch 18V (two each), DEWALT’s same nominal-voltage MAX group (the DCF801B) and the Metabo HPT’s same nominal-voltage MultiVolt group (the WH18DEXQ4). It usually pays to buy on the platform whose batteries you already own. Mostly bare. Eight of these 10 come without a battery or charger; the two kits are Bosch’s lower-voltage Max models rated 930 and 975 in-lb. Every driver rated above that is tool only, up to 2,500 in-lb claimed for the DEWALT DCF860B. Battery packs do not cross brands.
Can I compare drivers by the torque number?
Only loosely. Each maker rates torque under its own conditions, so the figures can filter a stated rating but do not set a performance order, and a higher claim is not a faster driver.
Why does the hydraulic driver lack a torque figure?
DEWALT’s page for the DCF870B Quiet Hydraulic model gives no numeric torque, so it cannot meet a minimum-torque choice and shows as unknown.
