Pressure and flow do not rise together
Westinghouse's rated pressures span 1800 to 3000 psi, while rated flow spans 1.1 to 1.24 gpm. Its higher-pressure WPX models have a 1.1 gpm figure; ePX variants include higher flow figures at lower rated pressures. You are choosing a pressure-and-flow pairing. Read the maker's operating conditions rather than substituting a maximum marketing pressure for a rated figure; cleaning speed and delivered output remain unmeasured here.
Carry weight and hose reach can outweigh the pressure headline
Hoses span 20 to 25 ft and machine weights span 14.3 to 42.7 lb. Westinghouse's ePX series includes lighter machines, while the WPX series includes heavier alternatives; decide how you will carry and store the unit as well as where the hose must reach. Verify the supplied fittings and nozzles for the exact package. Follow electrical and water-connection instructions, keep electrical connections protected as directed and never direct the pressure jet at people.

Why is the rated PSI lower than the number in the name?
Westinghouse's spec tables give a rated pressure and flow separately from the model name, and those rated figures are what this comparison uses. The name number runs higher on every model, by 300 PSI on the WPX2700e and as much as 1500 PSI on the ePX3500. If you compare another brand, its rated figure can be measured under a different test, so the two aren't automatically comparable.
Does more pressure always mean a heavier machine?
Not model to model. The WPX2300e weighs 27.5 lb, between the two groups, yet its 1900 PSI rating sits inside the ePX range. The 2600 PSI WPX3000e, at 36.8 lb, also outweighs the 2800 PSI WPX3200e. These are dry weights, so water in the pump and hose will probably add a little. If you need more than 2000 PSI, the four qualifying models weigh at least 33.1 lb; if you need a machine no heavier than 19 lb, the ePX group tops out at that pressure boundary.
