How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Fire duration needs its temperature beside it

SentrySafe's fire figures here span 30 to 60 min and 1400 to 1700 °F. Its 4.71 cu ft digital safe has a 30 min figure at 1400 °F, while the 0.36 cu ft digital chest has a 30 min figure at 1550 °F. Equal durations do not describe equivalent exposures.

Read the full conditions and item restrictions for the exact model. These figures do not promise protection in an actual fire and do not measure burglary resistance.

Usable space and opening method are different trade-offs

Internal capacities range from 0.18 to 4.71 cu ft. SentrySafe has digital and combination selections at 0.81 cu ft, and biometric and digital selections at 1.23 cu ft. If volume already suits your documents, the lock classification can still separate the choices. SentrySafe supplies the fire-rating descriptions; neither a safe nor its contents were exposed to fire for this comparison.

Volume alone does not show whether a document, storage device or folder fits through the opening. Compare internal dimensions with your items, then read override-key and battery details on the exact SentrySafe page. The primary lock label does not describe every way the safe can be opened.

Before you buy

Does a 60-minute rating guarantee protection for an hour?

No. It describes a laboratory exposure under stated conditions. Actual fire conditions and stored items can differ.

Can I compare duration without temperature?

The table includes both. Equal durations at different temperatures or under different standards are not the same test.

Does this finder compare theft protection?

It compares storage, access and published fire-test figures. Check the maker’s documentation for other protection claims.
