The coating and tip come before a bigger pump
Graco's Magnum Project Painter Plus has a maximum flow rating of 0.24 GPM; the Pro airless stand and cart models reach a maximum rating of 0.47 GPM. Compare each coating's tip guidance with the sprayer's supported tip limit before choosing by flow.
These are Graco ratings without a spray-pattern or finish trial. Greater maximum flow does not prove coating compatibility or a smoother finish. The flow and tip selectors choose exact values, so a higher-capacity model is not automatically retained when you select a lower rating.
A cart can change the weight without changing the flow rating
Graco's Pro airless stand and cart share the maximum flow rating but weigh 34 lb and 69 lb respectively. Supported hose lengths range from 50 to 200 ft among the models with a value; that is a limit, not a promise about the hose supplied in the box.
The TrueCoat handheld's missing flow, tip, hose and weight values stay unknown. Inspect the exact part number and included-parts description for the configuration you want. Follow Graco's pressure-relief and spray-safety instructions when setting up or servicing the selected sprayer.
Before you buy
Does the sprayer come with the longest hose it supports?
Not necessarily. The hose figure is the maximum length each sprayer supports, from 50 ft on the Project Painter Plus (257025) to 200 ft on both Pro210ES versions, and the included-parts list shows the hose that actually ships.
Will a sprayer handle my paint or stain?
Start from your coating: its data sheet gives the tip size it wants, and you need a sprayer whose maximum tip covers it; maximums here run from 0.015 in on the 257025 and Magnum X5 (262800) to 0.021 in on the Pro210ES. A higher flow figure alone doesn't make a sprayer right for a coating or its finish. No. In Graco's three stand-and-cart pairs, the maximum flow, tip size and hose length match. What changes is weight: 27 lb to 38 lb on the ProX17 and ProX19, 34 lb to 69 lb on the Pro210ES. Carry a stand up stairs; roll a cart on one level.
Why is the TrueCoat 360 missing most figures?
Graco's page for the handheld TrueCoat 360 (26D280) gives its frame but no flow, tip, hose or weight figures, and none were copied from other models. If you choose a tip or flow setting, it drops out of the results.
