10 models to compare

How much heavier is a tile saw with a bigger blade?

Bigger blades add weight here. QEP 22400Q takes 4 in at 8 lb; four 7 in saws weigh 19-45 lb.

The 10 in saws with weights weigh 69-99 lb.

How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Moving the saw can matter as much as powering it

QEP's Torque Master weighs 8 lb with a 4 in blade and 4 A motor current. DEWALT's High Capacity wet saw weighs 91 lb with a 10 in blade and 15 A current. RIDGID's extended-stand saw reaches 99 lb. Think through unloading, moving and supporting the saw, not just its blade size.

Weight data covers 9 saws; QEP's Bridge Saw has no weight available here. Maker weight descriptions can cover different packages, so inspect what each includes. Cutting speed and transport effort were not measured, so the makers' package descriptions matter alongside weight.

A blade diameter is not a tile-size limit

Blade diameters range from 4 to 10 in, and motor-current figures with data span 4 to 15 A. QEP's Power Pro has a 7 in blade and 6.5 A current, giving a different size-and-power combination from the larger DEWALT saws. Neither field supplies rip capacity or the support needed for a large tile.

Take your tile dimensions and intended cut to the exact saw manual. The table supplies no common basis for cutting-capacity claims or approval for a wet-work installation; review the manual's water setup, electrical precautions and support arrangement.

Before you buy

Does a bigger blade mean a longer rip cut?

Not necessarily. Blade diameter and rip length are different dimensions, and rip claims aren't compared here because fences and supports differ; the exact model's manual gives the tile sizes it handles. For large-format tile, QEP's 49 in bridge saw (83249) names it in its title.

How should I read motor current and weight?

As the makers' own figures, from 4 A on the 22400Q to 15 A on the D36000 and R4093. Neither says how cleanly a saw cuts, current isn't an electrical-suitability check, and the manual's circuit guidance for the exact saw still applies; weights may be counted with different included parts between makers.

Why is the QEP bridge saw's weight blank?

QEP's 83249 page gives two different weights, one in its feature text and one in its dimension table, so neither is shown. Setting a weight limit removes it from the results. If you haul the saw to each job, three 7 in saws stay at 28.25 lb or less: the RIDGID R4021 and QEP's 22900Q and 700XT (22700Q).

Why are some motor speeds missing?

Neither DEWALT page, for the D36000 or the D24000, gives a speed, and none is copied from another model. Where speeds are given they're each maker's maximum, from 3,400 RPM on the 83249 to 5,700 RPM on the R4031S.

Which saws come with a stand?

RIDGID names a stand for the R4031S, R4041S and R4093. R4031S, in that common blade-size group, is listed at 45 lb and the R4021 tabletop at 27 lb, an 18 lb difference between models. The figures do not isolate the stand's weight. For the other seven, check the product page's box contents.
