Power connection can rule out a bar before length does
UltraPro's USB bars are 12 in long; its Direct Wire White Select range includes 24, 36 and 48 in fixtures. Enbrighten's Plug-In Dimmable bar is 24 in long. Choose the connection your installation can support, then compare the bar with each cabinet bay.
Fixture lengths span 12 to 48 in, but connectors and cables can extend the complete installation. Countertop illumination was not measured, so the Enbrighten and UltraPro product details address fixture selection rather than coverage. Verify the exact package's power supply, linking cables and mounting parts before ordering.
Equal length does not mean equal light output
The makers rate Enbrighten's 24 in Plug-In Dimmable bar at 1560 lumens and UltraPro's 24 in Direct Wire White Select at 700 lumens. UltraPro sells the 44106 as linkable, so for a longer run, work out from the product page how many bars and connectors you need, and allow for cords and connectors in the total length. Not always. UltraPro rates its 18 in plug-in 44106 at 790 lumens and its direct-wire 45368 at 700 lumens. That fixture and Enbrighten’s plug-in bar are both 24 in, but the latter is rated 1,560 lumens, and UltraPro's two USB bars 300 lumens each. Direct-wire work is an electrician's job if it's new to you.
Which bars can dim or change color?
Going by the product names, the Enbrighten plug-in described above and both USB bars are dimmable, the three UltraPro direct-wire fixtures carry White Select, and UltraPro’s Wi-Fi bar at that same length is color changing. The Wi-Fi model has no lumen figure, so any lumen minimum leaves it out. Dimmer and adapter needs aren't covered here; read the product page before you buy.
Can I compare lumens between Enbrighten and UltraPro?
