Two sizes offer pack choices: 4 x 36 in and 6 x 48 in. The other six have one each.
Abrasive and count differ. Those sizes offer 10 aluminum-oxide belts in one grit or 3 zirconia belts at 60 grit.

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Width and loop length must match the sander together
POWERTEC's belts range from 0.5 to 6 in wide and from 16 to 72 in long. Its 4 in belts include both 21 in and 36 in loops. Selecting a width alone can leave a belt that is the wrong length for your machine.
Use the sander maker's specified width and length together before choosing grit or abrasive. This is a comparison of POWERTEC's dimensions and pack descriptions without a sanding trial on wood or metal.
A larger pack can have a different grit selection
The 6 in by 48 in Aluminum Oxide option supplies 10 belts at 80 grit; the Zirconia option of that size supplies 3 belts at 60 grit. Pack count and abrasive type are separate comparisons even after belt size matches.
POWERTEC also has assortment packs, so read every grit in the chosen pack rather than treating its first grit as the contents of the whole box. Consult the product's material guidance; abrasive names and pack quantities do not measure belt life or the finish you will get.
Before you buy
If the grit is right, will any belt fit my sander?
No, width and length both have to be exact for your sander, so a belt in the right grit still needs the right size. The 1-inch and wider belts in the thirty-inch length group below share a length but differ in width, for example.
Which packs mix several grits?
Four assortments do: the 32-belt 1/2 in by 18 in pack (8 each of 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit), plus 1-1/2 in by 30 in, 2-1/2 in by 16 in and 4 in by 21 in packs. POWERTEC's titles call the two zirconia 3-packs metal grinding belts, and every pack here is POWERTEC's, so other brands' sizes aren't covered.
