10 models to compare

How low is each spray foam's application temperature?

DAP GAPS & CRACKS gives a 25°F lower application endpoint; HOME SEAL gives 30°F. Both target small gaps with straw adapters. Read the full range.

Ventilation, protective equipment and preparation still matter.

How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

A window gap and a cavity patch call for different applicators

DAP NO WARP WINDOW & DOOR FOAM SEALANT uses a straw adapter for window and door gaps. DAPTEX Plus Multi-Purpose Latex Insulating Foam Sealant uses a reusable applicator for that project group. WALL & CAVITY SPRAY FOAM uses a wide-spray nozzle for cavity touch-ups; do not treat a broad spray and a bead as interchangeable applications.

Start with project and applicator, then read substrate preparation and UV-covering directions. This guide interprets DAP application guidance without dispensing foam. Ventilation and protective equipment still matter, and a project match implies no firestop or assembly approval.

The cold endpoint is only part of the application conditions

DAP BARRIER MULTI-PROJECT FOAM starts its maker application range at 20°F; Max Fill Expanding Foam Sealant starts at 60°F. Supported lower endpoints span 20 to 60°F, but the control compares only that endpoint. Read the full allowed range before deciding that the air, product and surface conditions suit the job.

Mouse Shield Foam Sealant & Blocker has no usable applicator or lower-temperature value; TOUCH ‘N SEAL ALL SEASONS FOAM SEALANT also lacks the temperature endpoint. Those gaps remain unknown. The numbers describe permitted application conditions, not cold-performance results or R-values, and the current label’s remaining conditions still apply.

Before you buy

Can I use wide-spray foam like a bead sealant?

WALL & CAVITY and Black Insulating Foam use wide-spray nozzles for cavity touch-ups. Window and door bead products serve different applications; follow substrate and UV-covering instructions. DAP GAPS & CRACKS gives a 25°F lower application endpoint; HOME SEAL gives 30°F. Both target small gaps with straw adapters. GAPS & CRACKS suits consideration at its lower stated endpoint. These are maker application ranges, not cold-performance results or R-values. Ventilation, protective equipment and preparation still matter.

Does a foam match establish firestop approval?

No firestop or assembly approval is implied. Mouse Shield lacks a usable applicator and lower-temperature value; TOUCH ‘N SEAL All Seasons also lacks that temperature endpoint. Read the current label and full recommended range.
